Time to Chill -- Crafty Sentiments Digi Blog Hop

Hi there!!
Welcome to the
Crafty Sentiments Digi Blog Hop!!

This is Day 2 of the hop and if you have been hopping along,
you have already picked up some letters to make a phrase.

Today I am showcasing the new digi image called, "Day Dreaming" and
he just makes me smile!!  The sentiment is exactly my life right now and all
of my friends keep saying the exact same thing to me.  Maybe someday...??  LOL!!

I kept my design very CAS and just used a die cut and a
wavy sentiment (it comes that way!) to give my card some movement.  :) :)

I don't usually include my skin tones in my marker pic because
I use the same colors on each card, but someone asked
me what my fave skin tones are so here you go:
E000, E00, E21, E04, E11, & R11 for blush
For shading, I picked the warm grays
and added them for cast shadows
around his clothes and body.
Hope that helps!!  :) :)

If you have been hopping along you have arrived from
Céline's blog.

The letter that you need to collect
from my blog is the

Little Toy Elf -- Guest Designer for Color Me Creative and Scrapping 4 Fun

Hope you are well !! :)
This card was a fun crafty
fusion of 2 guest spots that came
together very nicely into one sweet little
holiday card for one of my girls or their teachers.
They haven't quite decided if we are keeping her or not.

I was asked to Guest Design for the Scrapping 4 Fun Challenge blog
as well as the Color Me Creative Classroom and the 2 challenges went
together very nicely.  The Color Me Creative Classroom provided me with this
sweet image and the Scrapping 4 Fun Challenge gave me a color palette to work from.

This little cutie is a sweet digi from Digi My World called Little Elf
and she reminds me of a toy in one of the holiday cartoons
that my girls see on TV during this time of year, but
I don't really know her name.  I colored her as if
she were a toy and didn't have actual hair,
but rather that plastic helmet one piece
hair that most toys have. Think
Lego hair!!!  LOL!!  :) :)

At the Color Me Creative Classroom it's ANYTHING GOES!!!

It's a color challenge this week over at Scrapping 4 Fun
and you are to use 3 of the 5 colors on your project.
I chose to use the green, white, & gray
because my red is a little brighter.

Here are the colors that I used for my card.
I use both shin-han touch brush markers (white case)
and mix them amongst my copics for some added depth of color.
There is also a Spica glitter pen in there for the sparkle on her clothes.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Crafty Creations Challenges: #24 Ready for the Holidays
Addicted to Stamps and More: #72 Make Your Mark
Bearly Mine: #113 Christmas & Traditional Colors
Without Words: Getting Ready For Christmas

Stampavie and More Challenge: Christmas
The Paper Shelter: Christmas Is Coming
An Oldie But a Goodie: CAS Christmas
(My red card stock is over 6 months)

Cards in Envy: Punches & Dies
Use Your Stuff: Let It Snow

To my lovely blog friends:

Warm and Cozy Christmas -- Crafty Sentiments Designs

Hi there!!
Hope you all are well !!
So, the little sister went back to school...
and the big sister stayed home today...I feel like this
might just be a trend.  Not a trend that I like, but a trend, nonetheless!!
Can you say... frantic, panicked mommy, oh my!!  I haven't been around much
on the blogs and this is by far, the main reason!!  I just can't get much done with my
little buddies staying home instead of going to school.  So...I'm trying to be footloose about
it, but I am not really a footloose gal unless I'm on an island... so as you can imagine, it's not
going as well as I would like!!   Hee Hee!!  Cue the violins for this momma, will ya?

I'm back with my second post for Crafty Sentiments Designs!!! YAY!!
Our theme this fortnight on the challenge blog is: "Christmas"
and I chose non-traditional colors, of course!!  :) :)
If you know me well, you know that I need
to use BLUE GREENS every week or I
LOL!!  :) :) :)

This image is called, "Cold Christmas" and she is so very important to my girls right now as she is styled similarly to their favorite storybook heroine: "Anna" from the book and movie, "Frozen" about some ice princesses and a very fun wintry tale of a frozen land and all of the magic that comes with it!!

My girls showed me their DK Official Guide to Frozen as well as the novel so that I may portray her in an accurate light!! LOL!!  I hope they love her because this is going to be a very special
Christmas card for both of them to share!!  :) :)

They watched me color her up, but they were not around when I added the amazing and fabulous "Sparkly Fluff" to her muff and ear muffs!!  It really puffs up and gives great dimension!!
I hope that they will squeal with delight when they see and "feel" the fuzzy fur!!

Here are the colors that I used for my card.
I use both shin-han touch brush markers (white case)
and mix them amongst my copics for some added depth of color.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
Crafty Little Fairies: Top of the Pops (Walking in a Winter Wonderland)
Color Me Creative Challenge: #81 Wintry, Frosty, Cold
613 Avenue Create: Anything Goes/World Peace Day
Sassy Studio Designs: Not Your Typical Christmas

and the gorgeous digi stamp called, "Cold Christmas"
